(57) The device (1) provides for adjusting the distance between two connecting portions (60, 11) having respective connecting means (61, 7) for connection to two bodies to be connected a given distance apart; the connecting portions (60, 11) are carried respectively by a rod (2) sliding inside a sleeve (3), and by a supporting element (4) having a seat (8) in which the sleeve (3) slides; first adjusting means (5) provide for positioning and locking the rod (2) and the sleeve (3) in a first relative work position (65) selected from a first number of predetermined relative positions; and second adjusting means (6), distinct and independent of the first adjusting means, provide for positioning and locking the sleeve (3) and the supporting element (4) in a second relative work position (66) selected from a second number of predetermined relative positions.
