Easily openable container and unit for use in the same |
(57) A container unit comprises a vessel portion and a lid portion sealed to one another
such that contents are prevented from leaking out but which can be easily removed
by peeling off the lid portion by hand. The vessel portion is excellent in terms of
moldability from a sheet by vacuum forming and/or air-pressure forming and can be
molded effectively in a short time.
The container is obtainable by molding the vessel portion from a multi-layer sheet
comprising two or more layers, wherein at least one surface layer portion (a) of the
multi-layer sheet comprises a resin composition including the following components
(A), (B) and (C), and at least one of the other layer portions includes the following
component (D):
- (A) 1 to 96% by weight of a polystyrene resin,
- (B) 96 to 1% by weight of a polyolefin resin,
- (C) 3 to 25% by weight of one or more polymers [exclusive of the above-mentioned resins
(A) and (B)] in which a solubility parameter (SP) is in the range of 8.40 to 8.70,
and
- (D) a polystyrene resin.
The container unit is completed by sealing to the vessel portion a lid, the lid comprising
a single-layer film or a multi-layer film comprising two or more layers in which at
least one surface layer portion of the single-layer film or the multi-layer film comprising
two or more layers includes a blend of a polystyrene resin and a polyolefin resin,
a polystyrene resin or a polyolefin resin.
