(54) A vehicle entry/exit control system

(57) A vehicle entry/exit control system 10 comprises a camera 14 arranged to view the face of a driver and a computer which compares the viewed image of the driver with a store of images of authorised drivers to identify the driver. Other biometric sensing methods such as iris recognition, fingerprint or DNA analysis can be used.
