(54) Positive-displacement-type refrigerant compressor with a novel oil-separating and lubricating system


(57) A positive-displacement refrigerant compressor has an internal oil-separating and lubricating system with an oil-separating unit (41) to separate the oil from the compressed refrigerant, an oil-storing chamber (44) an oil supply passage (61a,61b) from the oil-storing chamber to the suction system, a pressure operated valve (50) arranged in the oil supply passage, which includes a valve chamber (55a) and a movable valve spool (56) to open and close the oil supply passage. The valve spool moves in response to a change in pressure differential between compression and suction chambers and blocks the oil flow from the oil supply passage when the pressure differential is greater than the counteracting spring force (58).
