Mixing and surfacing apparatus |
(57) The present invention relates to surfacing processes, in particular road-surfacing,
involving the use of bitumen-based surfacing materials, such as a surfacing vehicle
and a laying box suitable for use with the surfacing vehicle, as well as a bitumen
emulsion storage tank. More specifically, the present invention relates to an apparatus
for mixing bitumen emulsion and polymer-modified bitumen emulsion-based surfacing
materials, and for applying such materials, said apparatus being provided with means
for making it much easier to remove any bitumen deposited on the apparatus.
