(54) Pneumatic massaging apparatus with automatic air pressure changeover mechanism


(57) A pneumatic massaging apparatus includes a plurality of massaging units each having an air plug unit having a plurality of air plugs connected to a plurality of air bags, and an air pressure-controlling apparatus having an air jack unit with which an air plug unit of each of said massaging units is detachably coupled and supplying air to air bags of the relevant massaging unit, a predetermined number n (n is natural number) of plugs among a plurality of plugs of an air plug unit of respective massaging units are determined as massaging unit discriminating plugs, each of said predetermined number of massaging unit discriminating plugs of a respective massaging unit may selectively include a permanent magnet, and a plurality of Hall elements are provided at a predetermined number of air jacks corresponding to said predetermined number of discriminating plugs. Then, the maximum 2n kinds of the massaging units can be discriminated from each other.
