(57) "IMPROVED SMOKE EXTRACTOR HOOD" of the sort used in kitchen in homes and restaurants, consisting of a smoke collection hood, a traditional internal smoke extractor mechanism as well as a smoke outflow duct, and having as its essential distinguishing feature a hood protector equipped with a smoke detector cell connected to the smoke extractor mechanism and to an audible or visual alarm.
