OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The invention here proposed consists of a bottle label separator- protector from
among the separators incorporated in their packaging.
[0002] This invention is characterised by a special construction of the separator, incorporating
an outer recessed frame and inner partitions, longitudinal and transverse, also recessed.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0003] Interlocked partitions placed inside boxes and other bottle packaging containers,
in differing numbers, are widely known and need no further explanation other than
that their construction in a wide grid can be made using aligned grooves on the same
side or alternating grooves on opposite sides.
[0004] Internal reinforcements for protection of the boxes and other containers of this
type are known and used with certain frequency.
[0005] Also known is the damage suffered by bottle labels during their shipping, especially
in maritime transport where it is common for the bottles, despite the separators,
to turn about their axis and rub against these separators and against the container.
[0006] The applicant is not aware of the existence of protective separators of the type
described hereunder, with internal recesses which prevent this damage due to rubbing
of the bottle labels against the cardboard of the partitions and/or the container,
with no detriment to the protective function.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0007] The invention object of the present memory relates to a bottle label separator-protector
from among the separators incorporated in bottle storage and shipping containers,
either of the type having cut-out partitions on one of the larger edges or of the
type with grooves on both edges alternately.
[0008] The invention is characterised by a specific construction of the bottle label separator
incorporating a multiple recessed outer frame, in any conventional construction, which
partially or completely fills the height of the four inner vertical faces of the container,
so that the height of these recesses in the central area is greater than that of the
label and backlabel, slightly and conventionally extending beyond different points
of the bottle generatrices.
[0009] These recesses are repeated as many times as there are bottles aligned along the
sides of the container and are symmetrically duplicated in the comer dihedron in order
to allow introducing the bottle in the cardboard space, so that it does not rub against
the container cardboard nor, due to its reduced thickness, with the label of the adjacent
bottle.
[0010] Both the longitudinal and transverse internal partition or partitions are also recessed
with the same purpose.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0011] As a complement of the description being made and in order to aid a better understanding
of the characteristics of the invention, attached to the present descriptive memory
and as an integral part of it, is a set of drawings where, in an illustrative and
non-limiting sense, the following is shown:
[0012] Figure 1 shows an exploded view of the bottle label separator- protector of the invention
in a perspective view showing the recesses of this case of the preferred example.
[0013] Figure 2 shows a partial and cross-sectioned side elevation showing two bottles with
their respective labels facing each other inside their shared space.
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
[0014] In view of the above, the present invention relates to a bottle label separator-protector,
of the grid separators with cut-out partitions in one or both larger edges and of
internal container protector frames, essentially characterised by incorporating the
outer frame (1) of vertical laminas and with ends having opposed projections and recesses
in dovetail, from a number of recesses (2) equidistant to each other and to the respective
frame comers, as well as other central recesses of the grid formed by the internal
longitudinal (7) or transverse (8) partition or partitions, these recesses (2) having
a height greater than that of the label (3) and backlabel (4) of bottle (5), which
are introduced in space (6) without rubbing against the cardboard of the outer packing
nor against the frame (1), nor against partitions (7) and (8), in addition to partitions
(7) and (8) not touching each other from the two sides of a recess (2).
[0015] Alternatively, and according to the type of bottle and the characteristics of the
material and size of the packing, frame (1) can be eliminated in order to reduce the
pressure of the outer packaging on labels (3) by adequate lengthening of the ends
of partitions (7) and (8).
[0016] The essence of the invention is not altered by variations of materials, shape, size
and arrangement of the components, described in a non-limiting manner, this being
sufficient for its reproduction by an expert.
1. Bottle label separator- protector of grid separators in cut-out partitions on one
or both larger edges, and of internal container protector frames, essentially characterised
in that the outer frame (1) incorporates a set of recesses (2) equidistant from each
other and from the respective comers of the frame, as well as other central recesses
of the grid formed by the longitudinal (7) and transverse (8) partition or partitions,
these recesses (2) having a height greater than that of label (3) and backlabel (4)
of the bottle (5), which are incorporated in the space (6) without rubbing against
the cardboard of the outer packing nor against partitions (7) or (8), in addition
to partitions (7) or (8) not touching each other from opposite sides of a recess (2).
2. Bottle label separator- protector as claimed in the previous claim, characterised
in that frame (1) is eliminated in order to reduce the pressure of the outer packing
on labels (3), by an inadequate lengthening of partitions (7) and (8).
