(57) A container comprises a lid (13) and a fastener for securing the lid, the fastener comprising a pair of barbed projections (21,21) extending from a head (20) for insertion though an aperture (31) in the lid and into an aperture (32) in the container body, which is divided into two sections by a transverse formation (30). Each barbed projection comprises an inwardly-directed barb (24) for snap-engaging with the formation (30) and an outwardly-directed barb (23) for snap-engaging with the container body adjacent is aperture (32).
