Radio device for personal data search. |
(57) With the method to reproduce personal data it is usual to introduce the personal
data, to transmit (broadcast) these data to the air, to introduce the word or words
the user wants to look for, to receive the data broadcast by other users, to search
the characteristic word/s the user wants to find through all the data being received,
and to read the data which fulfill the search.
The aim of the invention is to be able to use a device to broadcast data through the
air to be received by other devices with the same characteristics, to receive the
data transmitted by other devices with the same characteristics, to let the user enter
his/her data for broadcasting and also to select a search through the data being received,
analyze and filter these data, and read the characteristics of the other users fulfilling
that search.
[0001] The invention concerns a personal data communication device by which users will be
able to broadcast their data (which can be structured in fields) to the free space
and also receive the personal data broadcast by other users with the same device.
[0002] The actual technology lets the user to communicate with other users by means of knowing
their telephone numbers, addresses, or company name and then ask to the switch board,
etc. When the user is in an area, town or city, and he/she is not familiar with the
place, it's needed for him/her a guide person, to call the local office up, or to
ask the local people when a pharmacy, a garage, a business, or general information
are needed. In an emergency situation the user is obligated to contact the police,
ambulance or equivalent emergency number, or go directly to the closest hospital,
when some emergency situations, like heart attack or breath stop, need medical action
quickly (the brain dyes from 3 to 5 minutes after a breath fail). There are also some
people who want to know and communicate with some other people with some particular
interests or characteristics, and they may find difficult to know who they are, when
they may be physically very close and communicate.
[0003] To solve all these problems, and some others, this invention suggests a method to
reproduce personal data. It is characterized by the following steps: introduce personal
data, transmit (broadcast) those data, introduce the word or words the user wants
to look for, receive the data broadcast by other users, search the characteristic
word/s the user wants to find through all the data received, read the data which fulfill
the search.
[0004] The user has to enter certain minimum data during the set up process, which can be
structured in different fields the user has to fill in, or choose one of the possible
options for each field. These data are saved so the user will be able to switch off
the method, so it will not transmit or receive any data during that period, and still
load the data in posterior uses. These personal data are broadcast every certain amount
of time (few seconds) so other users can receive them. The user will be able to run
a search through the data being received from other users by entering a value for
one or for more of the fields, so only the data from the users with that/those value/s
in that/those field/s are selected and the data from other users are not taken into
account and are filtered. The method can also have the option to search through the
data being received and advise the user (with a visual, acoustic or vibrated signal)
when the search has found a user fulfilling the characteristic data looked for by
the search.
[0005] Another goal of the invention is to supply a device to reproduce personal data which
is characterized by being comprised by: a) a transmitter adapted to send the data
to be received by other devices with the same characteristics used by other users;
b) a receiver adapted to receive the data transmitted by other devices with the same
characteristics used by other users; c) a data processing and control section to let
the user enter his/her data for broadcasting and also let the user select a search
through the data received, analyze and filter those data, and read the characteristics
of the other users fulfilling that search.
[0006] The invention will make people's life easier in terms of safeness, data access, publicity
in that the user looks for information, and the possibility to communicate with those
people close in physical distance who also want to share personal data, so it will
help the user to know other people around without interfering their privacy if they
don't want.
[0007] An example of a design to make the invention can be a device transmitter/receiver,
with a keypad, a display, a battery, an aerial, a data processing and control section,
a synthesizer, a receiver and a transmitter. The data processing and control section
interacts with the user via the display and the keypad. It also processes the information
the user gives and passes it to the transmitter, which sends it to the air via the
aerial as a radioelectric signal. The signals from other devices are picked up by
the aerial and passed to the receiver, which demodulates them and passes them to the
data processing and control section. In this block the data are filtered in accordance
with the command entered by the user and are shown to the user via the display.
1. A method to reproduce personal data characterized by the following steps: introduce
personal data, transmit (broadcast) these data to the air, introduce the word or words
the user wants to look for, receive the data broadcast by other users, search the
characteristic word/s the user wants to find through all the data being received,
read the data which fulfill the search.
2. A method as claimed in Claim 1, having the option to search through the data being
received and advise the user (with a visual, acoustic or vibrated signal) when the
search has found a user fulfilling the characteristic data looked for by the first
user. It can also have the option to activate or switch off the transmission and reception
of data.
3. A device to reproduce personal data characterized in that it comprises: a) a transmitter
adapted to send the data through the air to be received by other devices with the
same characteristics used by other users; b) a receiver adapted to receive the data
transmitted by other devices with the same characteristics used by other users; c)
a data processing and control section to let the user enter his/her data for broadcasting
and also to let the user select a search through the data being received, analyze
and filter these data, and read the characteristics of the other users fulfilling
that search.
