(57) System for controlling a stream of vehicles advancing in parallel lanes in the same direction and wherein along the path length the number of lanes decreases, with externally from the vehicle and active along a predetermined path length of more than thousand meters, parallel to the longitudinal axis of the road way, dynamic signalling means, with which the driving behaviour of the drivers of one or more vehicles is influenced along a predetermined path length, wherein said dynamic signalling means provide a signal that is optic of nature, such that it is directly noticable for the human driver, said signalling means being stationary and comprising signalling members providing a visual signal on the road surface.
