(54)	Carton for a light bulb or the like

(57) A carton (1) for a light bulb (3) or the like comprises a carton body, supporting means (5) within the carton body having holding means therein through which the light bulb (3) or the like is intended to pass to support the light bulb (3) or the like in the carton body with its connecting means (7) exposed to one end of the carton (1). Opening means (27) are provided at the said one end of the carton body openable to reduce the length of the carton body and expose all sides of the bulb connecting means (7) with said supporting means continuing to support the light bulb (3) or the like in the carton body.
