Figure 4 shows the frame part of a support appliance in accordance with the invention seen from the front and from the side, and

Figure 5 shows the locking part of a support appliance in accordance with the invention seen from the side and from above.

[0012] Figure 1 shows a support 19 known per se, which has a triangle-formed support link and a shaft turning downwards from it and having adjusting holes and a cotter pin. To the support part 1 in accordance with Figure 2 belongs a vertical tube or corresponding, on the outer side of which near to the middle of the height is an upwards turned hook-like part 13 and in the upper end of the vertical tube is a traverse hole 14, which makes the locking of the support arch possible on the spot with the cotter pin 15 when the shaft of the support arch is placed inside the vertical tube. On the upper end of the support part, reaching in its traverse direction, a gutter-formed part 17 has been fixed.

[0013] The connecting tube in accordance with Figure 3 is formed of two tubes 3 and 4, one inside the other. On the inner end of the inner tube is fixed a spring and stopper, which allows the motion in one direction only. The connecting tube is on the edge side of the frame part and continues to close to the other edge of the bed. In the outer end of the inner tube is a thread part, which has a connecting thread part 5. In addition, to the connecting thread part belongs a covering 11. Further to the appliance belongs an adjusting part 6, which is formed of a sheet-like, fairly narrow part, which has a longer side and, in relation to it, in a mainly rectangular angle bent shorter side or part 12. At the edge of the longer side is the adjusting hole line 10, in the suitable hole of which one threaded part of the connecting thread part 5 is fastened.

[0014] The frame part in accordance with the invention presented in Figure 4 is formed of a semi-circular sheet gutter 2, on the sides of which are parallel flanges 18, in which both flanges there are holes at equal distances. On the outer side of the sheet gutter 2 is a mainly above the half-way fixed traverse, with corroborating bends equipped gutter-formed part 16, which corresponds the gutter-formed part 17 in the upper part of the support part 1 turned upside down. Underneath the gutter-formed part 16 in its middle is a directly to the side reaching, on the semi-circular sheet gutter 2 fixed sleevelike part 9. Inside the sleevelike part 9 the outer tube 3 of the connecting tube is fixed.

[0015] The length adjustment of the appliance is done by pulling the inner tube 4 in relation to the outer tube 3. When putting the adjusting part 6 and the connecting tube 4 on the spot, they are in an inclined position in regard to the underside of the edge of the bed, whereat, when turned into the traverse position the flange 11 connected with the thread part has turned and diminished the adjustment split and at the same time pressed the edge of the bed between the sheetlike bent shorter part 12 and the flange 11 of the threaded part.

[0016] The locking part in accordance with Figure 5 functioning as a quick-release fastening device is formed mainly of a circular bar into a semi-circular form, the both ends of which bar are turned downwards hooklike. In the middle of the outer side of the bar is a two-sided locking lever, which, when turned into its one border turns over one turning joint, and in the other turning joint of which is the adjustment thread of the length. With the locking part 8 the support part, the frame part and the connecting tube are combined into the same entirety.

[0017] When the appliance in accordance with the invention is assembled, the adjusting part 6 is attached to the lower edge of one edge of the bed locked by the flange 11 of the connecting thread part 5, whereat the edge of the bed is between the shorter part 12 of the adjusting part and the flange 11. To the thread part is attached the inner tube 4 of the connecting tube and on its other end, through the intermediation of the spring and the locking part is the outer tube 3. The connecting tube is locked inside the sleeve behind the frame part at its one end, the traverse gutter 16 of the frame part is against the lower edge of the side of the bed on the rising side and the semi-circular sheet gutter 2 of the frame part in the vertical position is against the outer edge of the side of the bed. The traverse gutter 17 of the support part 1 is hereat around the upper edge of the rising side of the bed and the vertical tube outside the edge and partly inside the semi-circular sheet gutter 2 of the frame part. The downward ends of the semi-circular part of the locking part 8 are reaching on both sides over the tube of the support part 1 and they are in the holes of the flanges 18 of the frame part located on both sides of it. When the end of the locking shaft 20 of the locking part 8 at its one turning joint is in the upward gutter 13 of the support part, the length adjustment is correct. When the locking lever 21 is turned into its lower position, the gutter 16 of the frame part is pressed to the lower edge of the bed and the gutter 17 of the support part 1 to the upper edge of the bed and the support appliance is locked firmly to the bed. After this, the support arch is placed on its spot and attached with a cotter pin to the support part. The detaching takes place by turning the locking lever 21 upwards, at which the locking is released.

[0018] The invention is not limited to the favourable application presented herein, but it can vary within the inventive steps formed by the claims.
