(54) Glazing system


(57) The invention relates to a glazing system comprising a plurality of glazing panels (10,11) made from a plastics material each panel having at least one edge region juxtaposed with the edge region of the other of said panels and wherein said juxtaposed edges are formed with or provided with an abutment (12,13) extending tranversely of the plane of each glazing panel, said glazing system further comprising a support structure (14) having a first part (15) which extends inwardly from the edge regions of the juxtaposed panels and along one side of the panels (10,11) and a second part (16) which extends inwardly from edge regions of said juxtaposed panels (10,11) and along the opposite sides of the panels from the first part (15) and wherein said second part (16) is of a formation whereby it at least partially encloses said abutments (12,13) to deter separation of said glazing panels from their support structure (14).
