(57) A control device, particularly for appliances used in the field of domestic and/or industrial cleaning, comprising at least one radio-wave transmitter (15) which is located on the handle (13) of the tool of the cleaning appliance and a receiver (16) which is located on the appliance body (11) and is connected to means for controlling the various functions of the appliance.
