(54) Multi-directional slide switch


(57) A multi-directional slide switch is comprised of a case having fixed contact members and a cover; first slide member and a second slide member arranged in the case and slidably guided in each of the direction of x-axis and the direction of y-axis, respectively, wherein the first slide member is provided with an operating knob, and a movable contact member is fitted and fixed to the rear surface opposite to the operating knob, the second slide member is provided with a through hole to which the operating knob is freely fitted, the operating knob is projected outside the cover, the operating knob is slid to cause the movable contact member to be slid to the predetermined position of the fixed contact members and contacted with it, and a multi-directional operation of the operating knob is carried out.
