(54) Swash plate compressor piston


(57) A piston (14) includes an engagement portion (70) that engages with a swash plate (60). The engagement portion is provided with a pair of arms (120,122) and a coupling (124) for coupling base ends of the arms. An axial rib (142) is integrally provided in a central part of a back surface of the coupling for reinforcement. An accommodation groove (160) is formed in the inner circumferential surface of a cylinder bore (12) corresponding to the axial rib, such that the axial rib does not interfere with the cylinder bore when the piston moves to the top dead center.
