(54) Apparatus and method for drying/finishing garments


(57) In a first aspect, the present invention provides an apparatus for drying and/or finishing garments, the apparatus including monitoring means for monitoring at least one characteristic of each garment and speed adjustment means which, in use, are usable to adjust the speed at which the garments move through a drying/finishing chamber to a speed determined according to the at least one characteristic.
