(57) A latch arrangement (10) including a latch bolt (12) moveable between at least a closed condition, at which it is capable of retaining a striker (30) in use, and an open condition, at which it is capable of releasing the striker, and a power actuator (20) operable to resist movement of the latch bolt during at least part of an opening movement of the latch bolt.
