BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to an exhibiting device which has been specifically
designed for selecting nail varnishes and the like.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0002] The aim of the present invention is to provide such an exhibiting device adapted
to facilitate the selection of nail varnish colours.
[0003] Within the scope of the above mentioned aim, a main object of the present invention
is to provide such an exhibiting device allowing to change or replace the exhibited
colour ranges, in a quick, easy and inexpensive manner.
[0004] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide such an exhibiting device
allowing a customer to easily choose or select a desired nail varnish, while allowing
said customer to evaluate in an actually realistic manner the effect of said varnish
on his/her nails.
[0005] According to one aspect of the present invention, the above mentioned aim and objects,
as well as yet other objects, will become more apparent hereinafter, are achieved
by an exhibiting device, specifically designed for nail varnishes and the like, characterized
in that said exhibiting device comprises one or more cylinders rotatably applied to
a supporting element and a plurality of jumper elements, coupled to said cylinders
and each of which is adapted to support a false nail, covered by a nail varnish or
enamel.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0006] Further characteristics and advantages of the present invention will become more
apparent hereinafter from the following detailed disclosure of a preferred, though
not exclusive, embodiment of the invention, which is illustrated, by way of an indicative,
but not limitative, example in the accompanying drawings, where:
Figure 1 is a perspective view of the exhibiting device according to the present invention;
Figure 2 is a further perspective view, of an enlarged scale, of a jumper or bridging
element, applied to the exhibiting device according to the invention;
Figure 3 is a further perspective view of a cylinder included in the exhibiting device
according to the invention;
Figure 4 is an elevation side view of the cylinder shown in the preceding figure;
Figure 5 is a cross-sectioned view, similar to the preceding figure, of the cylinder;
Figure 6 is a side elevation view of the exhibiting device according to the invention;
Figure 7 is a further side elevation view of the exhibiting device according to the
present invention, including two cylinders;
and
Figure 8 is a further side elevation view, as cross-sectioned and represented on an
enlarged scale, of the exhibiting device according to the present invention, including
two cylinders.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0007] With reference to the number references of the above mentioned figures, the exhibiting
device according to the present invention, which has been generally indicated by the
reference number 1, comprises at least a cylinder 2, which is rotatably coupled to
a supporting element 3, comprising a pivot pin 4, which can be connected to a hub
element 5 of the cylinder 2.
[0008] The exhibiting device comprises moreover a plurality of jumper or bridging elements
6, each of which is designed for supporting a false nail 7, said false nails being
each covered by a nail varnish or enamel.
[0009] Each jumper element, in particular, can be coupled to the wall of the cylinder 2,
in a removable manner, for example with a fitted-in relationship, or by an elastic
deformation, or in a permanent manner, by a clamping system, for example by glueing,
according to the specific requirements.
[0010] The mentioned exhibiting device can comprise either one or more cylinders 2.
[0011] Figures 7 and 8 show, for example, an exhibiting device 101 including two coupled
cylinders, which can independently turn on a pivot pin 104.
[0012] Alternately, said cylinders can be coupled to one another by the hub elements 5,
as optionally suitably modified.
[0013] The exhibiting device according to the invention facilitates a customer in choosing
or selecting a nail varnish or enamel, to be suitably coated on the false nails to
provide a much more realistic effect of the nail varnish itself.
[0014] A nail advantage of the exhibiting device according to the present invention is the
possibility of locating the customer finger tips under the jumper elements, thereby
allowing the customer to observe the false nail, precisely arranged on the customer
nail, thereby said customer can properly evaluate the chromatic effect, which would
be obtained if the nail varnish would be actually coated on a true nail.
[0015] A further advantage of the present invention is the possibility of adjoining a plurality
of cylinders and turn them independently from one another to compare several colour
combinations and evaluate possible very small differences of said combined colours.
[0016] Furthermore, the exhibiting device according to the present invention provides remarkable
advantages from the nail varnish seller standpoint, which can easily replace the cylinder
by further cylinders including different and new colour ranges or combinations.
[0017] In the case of removable jumper elements, it would be possible to replace only some
colours, in a very quick, easy an inexpensive manner.
[0018] It has been practically found that the invention, as disclosed, fully achieves the
above mentioned aim and objects.
[0019] In fact, an exhibiting device, specifically designed for facilitating a selection
of nail varnishes has been herein provided.
[0020] In practicing the invention, the used materials, as well as the contingent size and
shapes, can be any, depending on requirements and the status of the art.
1. An exhibiting device, specifically designed for nail varnishes and the like, characterized in that said exhibiting device comprises one or more cylinders rotatably applied to a supporting
element and a plurality of jumper elements, coupled to said cylinders and each of
which is adapted to support a false nail, covered by a nail varnish or enamel.
2. A device according to Claim 1, characterized in that said supporting element comprises at least a pivot pin, which can be coupled to a
hub element of each of said cylinders.
3. A device according to claims 1 or 2, characterized in that each said jumper element is adapted to be coupled to a wall of a said cylinder, in
a removable manner, for example by fitting-in it into said cylinder or by resiliently
deforming said jumper element, in a permanent manner by a clamping system, for example
by glueing.
4. A device according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that each said jumper element can be coupled to said wall of said cylinder in a permanent
manner by a clamping system, for example a glueing system.
5. A device according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said jumper elements are so coupled to said cylinder that a customer can arrange
the tip portions of his/her fingers under said jumper elements, to observe the false
nail precisely arranged on a customer nail.
6. A device according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said device comprises one or more of the above disclosed and/or illustrated features.
