(57) Printing with water based ink, directly upon media of the digitally recorded compact memory disc types, including CD's and DVD's by applying a print receiving layer to the discs, then printing on the receiving layer with water based ink, and, thereafter, applying a protective coating over the printed material to protect it from ultraviolet rays and moisture.
