[0001] The invention refers to the'manufacture of street garlands using wire rope all along
the structure.
[0002] To date, the suspension of garlands was achieved by putting them together and attaching
them on the site by specialized staff.
[0003] This resulted in the uneven wear and tear of the various components and eventually
their twisting and breaking.
[0004] An additional negative was the great cost because of having to perform the assemblage
on the site of the suspension of the decoration.
[0005] On he contrary, the way we use the rope wire, the pattern is already placed onto
it and it is packaged and ready to be taken to the desired location of suspension.
The attachment is also easy as the lighting is ready and can be unfolded like a placard
as soon as it is taken out of its packaging and plugged in (voltage 220V) since all
the connections are ready.
[0006] Using the wire rope for suspending the prepared garlands we can achieve:
1 - A lightweight garland.
2- Easy suspension using any thickness of wire rope, vices and tensors
3- Easy storage taking up little space.
4- Greater endurance without damage in time.
[0007] A practical application can be seen in the attached drawings:
Fig. 1 shows an application of the suspension of a garland made of aluminium rods
with external lights using wire rope.
Fig. 2 shows an application of the suspension of a garland made of plastic lighting
tube using wire rope.
Fig. 3 shows the wire rope used for suspending the garland fully equipped.
Fig. 4 shows the tensor.
Fig. 5 shows the stretching clamp.
[0008] In reference to the drawings:
[0009] The suspending wire rope ―1- is stretched with clamps ―2- at both ends, tightened
with a special tensor ―3- and attached onto the poles ―4- with nails ―5-.
[0010] Onto the wire rope are attached with rings ―6- the garland ―7a- made of lighting
tube or the garland ―7- made of aluminium rods with external lights ―9-.
