    Description


    [0001] The present invention is related to a refrigerator with a grid that prevents the frost formed around the evaporator of the refrigerator having fresh food and freezer compartments, from falling in large pieces into the drainage pool during defrosting and, preferably, to the melting of the said masses by means of heaters.

    [0002] In known refrigerators, the frost formed on the evaporator is melted via a heater and ice pieces that have melted fall into the water drainage reservoir and the said masses of ice and snow are melted by means of a separate heater placed below the water drainage reservoir. However the melting of big pieces takes a long time and meanwhile the water drainage canal is jammed which in turn has a negative impact on the operational performance of the refrigerator.

    [0003] From FR-A-2 117 851 a refrigerator is known in which the above problem is solved by a device which ensures that no cooling cycle starts before the ice present in the water drainage reservoir is fully melted.

    [0004] The object of the present invention is to improve the cooling performance by preventing the blockage in the intermediate compartment and in the reservoir, due to frosting.

    [0005] The heater and grid for refrigerator defrosting, realized in order to attain the above object of the present invention are illustrated in the attached drawings, wherein:

    [0007] A perforated grid (2) is used to avoid the blocking of the intermediate division and the water drainage canal (5) by the snow and ice pieces that fall into the water drainage reservoir (4) in large masses during the defrosting of the evaporator of a two-door, "No-Frost" refrigerator having freezer and fresh food compartments and to dissolve melt these masses by means of the heaters (1).

    [0008] The grid (2) is made of a rectangular and preferably metallic sheet iron piece. At the bottom of the grid (2), there exist perforations (6) arranged with a certain distance from each other and in any desired number and form.

    [0009] The short edges on both ends of the grid (2) are extended upwards and mounted on the evaporator (3). Furthermore, the lowest part of the evaporator (3) heater (1) is seated on the grid (2) base and the heater (1) is mounted by means of the retaining means (7) formed on the grid (2), in such a manner that it will be in contact with the bottom of the grid (2).

    [0010] The grid (2) is placed between the evaporator (3) and the water drainage reservoir (4), so that the snow and ice pieces accumulated on the evaporator (3) drop onto the said grid (2), and flow down into the water drainage pool (4) as they melt. Melting is provided by the electrical heaters (1) that are switched in during defrosting. In this manner, blocking of the water drainage canal (5) and of the intermediate division is avoided by preventing the frost load from falling directly into the pool (4).


    Claims

    1. A refrigerator with an evaporator (3), a water drainage reservoir (4) and a water drainage canal (5) characterized by a grid (2) placed between the evaporator (3) and the water drainage reservoir (4), having perforations (6) formed on its surface, that avoids blocking of the water drainage canal (5) and of the intermediate division, by preventing the frost load from falling directly into the reservoir (4) when the frost load consisting of snow and ice pieces formed around the evaporator (3) starts melting.
     
    2. A refrigerator according to Claim 1, characterized in that the short sides on both ends of said grid are extended upwards and mounted on the evaporator (3).
     
    3. A refrigerator according to Claim 1, and 2, characterised in that said grid (2), also includes a heater (1) fixed on the grid (2) by retaining means (7) that are present on the grid (2) base, and arranged so that it contacts with the grid (2) base, to provide the melting of the snow and ice pieces that have fallen onto the grid (2) during defrosting.
     


    Ansprüche

    1. Kühlschrank mit einem Verdampfer (3), einem Wassersammelspeicher (4) und einem Wasserabflusskanal (5),
    gekennzeichnet durch
    ein Gitter (2), das zwischen dem Verdampfer (3) und dem Wassersammelspeicher (4) angeordnet ist und das Löcher (6) aufweist, die an seiner Oberfläche ausgebildet sind, und das eine Blockierung des Wasserabflusskanals (5) und des Zwischenbereiches dadurch vermeidet, dass ein Fallen der Frostladung direkt in den Speicher (4) verhindert wird, wenn die um den Verdampfer (3) herum gebildete Frostladung aus Schnee und Eisstücken zu schmelzen beginnt.
     
    2. Kühlschrank nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass die kurzen Seiten an beiden Enden des Gitters (2) sich nach oben erstrecken und am Verdampfer (3) angebracht sind.
     
    3. Kühlschrank nach Anspruch 1 und 2,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass das Gitter (2) eine Heizeinrichtung (1) enthält, die am Gitter (2) durch Befestigungseinrichtungen (7) fixiert ist, die an der Basis des Gitters (2) vorhanden und derartig angeordnet sind, dass die Heizeinrichtung mit der Basis des Gitters (2) in Kontakt ist, um den Schnee und die Eisstücke, die während des Enteisens auf das Gitter (2) gefallen sind, zu schmelzen.
     


    Revendications

    1. Un réfrigérateur du type comportant un évaporateur (3), un réservoir pour l'eau d'écoulement (4) et un canal (5) pour l'eau d'écoulement, caractérisé par une grille (2) placée entre l'évaporateur (3) et le réservoir pour l'eau d'écoulement (4), cette grille présentant sur sa surface des perforations (6) destinées à éviter le blocage du canal (5) pour l'eau d'écoulement et de la division intermédiaire, en empêchant les blocs congelés de tomber directement dans le réservoir (4) quand lesdits blocs congelés, consistant en neige et en blocs de glace formés autour de l'évaporateur (3) commencent à fondre.
     
    2. Un réfrigérateur selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les petits côtés situés aux deux extrémités de ladite grille sont dirigés vers le haut et sont montés sur l'évaporateur (3).
     
    3. Un réfrigérateur selon les revendications 1 et 2, caractérisé en ce que ladite grille (2) comprend également un réchauffeur (1) fixé sur la grille (2) par des éléments de maintien (7) situés sur la base de la grille (2) et agencés de manière à être au contact de la grille (2) pour assurer la fusion de la neige et des blocs de glace qui ont pu tomber sur la grille (2) au cours du dégivrage.
