(54) Shaving systems with handle to razor head attachment mechanism and methods of performing same


(57) A shaving system comprising a razor head (126), a razor (112) having a gripping portion and an engagement member (19) which is integral with the razor and which is moveable relative to the gripping portion from a first position wherein the engagement member is aligned for engagement with the razor head to a second position wherein the engagement member is engaged with the razor head. The invention also comprises a locking mechanism (20) for locking the engagement member to the razor when disposed in the second position. Embodiments of the invention also comprise methods of attaching a razor head to a razor comprising the steps of: providing a razor head, a razor having a gripping portion and an engagement member; aligning the razor with the razor head; moving the razor towards the razor head such that the engagement member moves from a first position to a second position and engages the razor head; and locking the engagement member in the second position with the razor head engaged.
