(57) A steer-by-wire control system (10) comprising a master control unit (12), a road wheel unit (16) electrically connected to the master control unit (12) and a steering wheel unit (14) electrically connected to the master control unit (12). The steering wheel unit (14) includes a feed forward control path (102) and a feed back control path (104).
