(54) Silver halide photographic light-sensitive material and method for processing the same

(57) A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed, comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion, wherein a hydrophilic colloid layer which is the same or different from the silver halide emulsion layer contains solid grains in an amount of increasing the integrated value of spectral reflectance of the light-sensitive material in the wavelength region of 850 to 1,000 nm, by 1.5% or more, and a method for processing a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed, comprising exposing a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support using an image setter, transporting the light-sensitive material by an automatic transportation system and developing the light-sensitive material in an automatic developing machine, wherein a hydrophilic colloid layer which is the same or different from said silver halide emulsion layer contains solid grains in an amount of increasing the integrated value of spectral reflectivity of the light-sensitive material in the wavelength region of 850 to 1,000 nm by 1.5% or more.
