(57) Processes for diamond covering bodies (1) of substantially spherical (1) or anyhow prismatic shape (1.A,1.B.1,1.C) being used in jewelry, of the type which does not require removal of material are described. The single object (1) is deposited within a seat (2) which acts as a container and is successively subjected to a punching action (4). The process is characterized by the fact that the single object (1) is automatically positioned at each punching action (4) with a different portion of the surface of the object (1) to be diamond covered.
