Evaporating system used in air-cooled thermal units for reducing air temperature |
(57) Evaporative cooling system (B,D) for reducing the temperature of air used as cooling
fluid in an air-cooled condenser (A) or in an air-cooled heat exchanger wherein water
from a water-cooled refrigerant cooler (C) is cooled.
|

|
[0001] The existing thermal units are basically of two types according to their design:
- Units with remote condensers (split) - Figure 1, ref A
- Compact units with incorporated condensers - Figure 2, ref. A
[0002] The objective of the present description is to obtain the "copy right" covering the
addition of water cooling equipment to existing thermal units.
[0003] Referring to units of the type described in figure 1 ref. A (remote condensing units)
we add an evaporative cooling system (Figure 1, ref. B).
[0004] Referring to units of the type described in figure 2, ref. A (compact units) we add
an water cooling exchanger system (Figure 2, ref. C), which could be linked to a cooling
tower (Fig. 2 Ref. D) or by tap water.
1. We demand the right of the process of coupling an evaporative unit to the condensers
units of thermal remote air condensers in refrigeration and air conditioning equipment's,
to increase the thermal efficiency of the units.
2. We demand the right of the process of inserting a water exchanger between compressor
and air condenser in thermal refrigeration units, in order to reduce power consumption
and thermal heat exchange to the environment, lowering the condenser temperature,
increasing the unit thermal efficiency.
