OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to a holographic wristwatch-currency converter from
among wristwatches which bear several types of tables.
[0002] The invention is characterised by a special construction of the watch which incorporates
an annular disc printed in the shape of a toothed wheel where each tooth corresponds
to a currency equivalence of integer amounts in Pesetas to Euros, in a double holographic
image, as well as a pointer simulating an equivalence position.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0003] Wristwatches often show in addition to the time a great number of conversion tables
and other ornamental elements.
[0004] The applicant is not aware of any wristwatches provided with a currency conversion
table in a double holographic image for a large number of values of two different
currency scales.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0005] The invention object of the present invention relates to a wristwatch-currency converter
from among wristwatches which bear various ornamental tables, having a practical application.
[0006] The invention is characterised by the special construction of the wristwatch, which
externally incorporates a printed annular disc so that the external disc edge is slightly
thickened and provided with a number of triangular indentations which together define
a toothed wheel.
[0007] In this crown is established a correspondence on each tooth for integer amounts in
Pesetas with the Euro equivalent placed on the same surface of each tooth, in a double
holographic image arrangement.
[0008] Additionally one tooth, specifically that which corresponds to the twelve o'clock
position of the watch, does not bear the equivalence of two currency amounts but takes
the form of an indicator such as an arrow head or an image to indicate the user when
performing a motion with the wrist that the alternative image is being viewed, and
which constitutes a simulation element for the correlation arrangement between the
two sets of figures.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0009] Accompanying the present invention is a set of drawings of a preferred embodiment
of the invention, where for purposes of illustration only and in no way meant as a
definition of the limits of the invention the following is shown:
[0010] Figure 1 shows a sectional view of the holographic wristwatch of the invention on
both of its sides, and in a bold line the disc with the currency converter.
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
[0011] In view of the above, the present invention relates to a holographic wristwatch-currency
converter from among wristwatches which bear various ornamental tables, characterised
in that it externally incorporates a printed annular disc (1) so that the external
disc edge (2) is slightly thickened and provided with a number of triangular indentations
(3) which together define a toothed wheel, where on each tooth (4) is provided superimposed
in a double holographic image and in its central area a number of amounts in Pesetas
(5) and their respective equivalence in Euros (6).
[0012] The tooth corresponding to the twelve o'clock position of the watch bears an indicating
means (7) of any sort which simulates the relative arrangement between the two tables
which are spatially matching.
[0013] The essence of the invention is not altered by variations in materials, shape, size
and arrangement of the component elements, described in a non-limiting manner which
should allow reproduction by an expert in the field.
1. Holographic wristwatch-currency converter from among wristwatches which bear various
ornamental tables, characterised in that it externally incorporates a printed annular disc (1) so that the external disc edge
(2) is slightly thickened and provided with a number of triangular indentations (3)
which together define a toothed wheel, on which each tooth (4), superimposed in a
double holographic image and on its central area, are provided a number of amounts
in Pesetas (5) and their respective equivalence in Euros (6), while one of its teeth
bears an indicating means (7) of any sort which simulates the relative arrangement
between the two tables which are spatially matching.
