(54) An improved wall hair drier

(57) The present invention relates to an improved wall hair drier including a main body (2) which can be applied to a wall and comprises a flexible hose (3) or a conventional type of gun drier.
The main feature of the invention is that an optically reflecting surface (10) is coupled to the main body.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to an improved wall hair drier.

[0002] As is known, prior wall hair driers conventionally comprise a main body, provided for connection to a wall, and including a flexible hose or a conventional type of gun hair drier.

[0003] On the other hand, it would be useful to use, in a bathroom, a further mirror, i.e. additional to that usually associated with a washbasin.

[0004] In particular, such an additional mirror would be very advantageous if a user could use it without gripping it in his/her hand.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0005] The aim of the present invention is to solve the above mentioned problem, by providing an improved wall hair drier having a mirror associated therewith, which could be easily oriented and brought near a user in a quick and easy manner.

[0006] Within the scope of the above mentioned aim, a main object of the present invention is to provide such an improved wall hair drier which is very reliable and safe in operation and which can be easily operated by the user.

[0007] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide such an improved wall hair drier which is very competitive from a mere economic standpoint.

[0008] According to one aspect of the present invention, the above mentioned aim and objects, as well as yet other objects, which will become more apparent hereinafter, are achieved by an improved wall hair drier, comprising a main body to be fixed to a wall and including either a flexible hose or a conventional gun hair drier, and being characterized in that said wall hair drier comprises an optically transparent surface coupled to said main body.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0009] Further characteristics and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent hereinafter from the following detailed disclosure of an improved wall hair drier, which is illustrated, by way of an indicative, but not limitative, example, in the figures of the accompanying drawings, where:

Figure 1 is a schematic perspective view showing the improved wall hair drier according to the invention;

Figure 2 is a front elevation view of the improved wall hair drier according to the invention;

Figure 3 is a side elevation view illustrating the improved wall hair drier according to the invention, having the reflecting surface thereof folded against its main body;

Figure 4 is a further side elevation view illustrating the improved wall hair drier having its reflecting surface arranged at a down or bottom position;

Figure 5 is a further side elevation view showing the improved wall hair drier having its reflecting surface arranged at a raised or up position; and

Figures 6 and 7 show a modified embodiment of the improved wall hair drier according to the invention, and being provided with a mirror element.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0010] With reference to the number references of the above mentioned figures, the improved wall hair drier according to the present invention, which has been generally indicated by the reference number 1, comprises a main body 2, which can be coupled to a wall and comprises a conventional flexible hose 3 ending with a delivery outlet 4.

[0011] The main feature of the invention is that with the main body 2, an optically reflecting surface, comprising a mirror 10, is associated.

[0012] More specifically, coupling means are provided, including an U-shape bracket 11, the free end portions of the arms of which are pivoted to one of the three sides (either vertical or horizontal) of the main body 2.

[0013] At a middle portion of the central region, an articulated joint element 12 is provided, including a small base 13 which can turn about a central rod, in turn articulated to a socle element 14, coupled to a mirror 10, so that it can be easily rotated about a pivot pin extending perpendicular to the central rod.

[0014] By the disclosed type of connection, a user can arrange the mirror at a plurality of different positions, by causing said bracket to swing with respect to the free end portions thereof, and causing the mirror to swing about the central rod, to fit all the user requirements.

[0015] Advantageously, the mirror is provided either with a flat face or a concave face or both a flat and concave face.

[0016] Thus, the user can locate the mirror at any desired position, owing the broad range of movements afforded by the provision of combined articulated joints.

[0017] Figures 6 and 7 show a supporting device for supporting the movable mirror, which device comprises a supporting arm 11 pivoted to a wall hair drier including an air outlet 20.

[0018] In practicing the invention, the used materials, provided that they are compatible to the intended applications, as well as the contingent size and shapes, can be any, depending on requirements.
