(57) An illumination device is provided on the back surface side of the bath tub vessel for receiving water formed of a transparent material or a translucent material. Furthermore, in a bath tub unit having a double-hulled structure consisting of an inner vessel and an outer vessel, the inner vessel is formed of a transparent material or a translucent material, and an illumination device is provided in a space between the inner vessel and the outer vessel.
