Recombinant Candida rugosa lipases |
(57) The present invention features an isolated nucleic acid encoding a mutant
Candida rugosa lipase, wherein the mutant nucleic acid is 80% identical to a wilt-type DNA encoding
a
Candida rugosa lipase, and where at least 12 of the CTG codons, corresponding to serine in the wild-type
DNA, have been replaced by a universal serine codon. The
Candida rugosa lipase can be lipase 1,2,3,5 or 8.
