(57) A water soluble package formed from a water soluble film containing a substantially non-aqueous liquid composition comprising at least one surfactant selected from those of formulae (I) and (II):-R1―CH2―O(AO)nR2 wherein R1 is C5-C22, preferably C7-C17 straight or branched alkyl or alkenyl;
R2 is C1-C6, preferably C1 or C2 alkyl;
each AO represents an independently selected C2-C4, preferably C2 alkyleneoxy group; and
M+ represents a hydrogen or a counter cation, preferably an alkali metal ion.
