(57) Modular element (10) for sectional doors (11) such as garage doors, main doors, shutters, blinds or similar, comprising a front surface (12), a rear surface (13) parallel to the front surface (12), a first edge (15) and a second edge (16) which connect together the parallel surfaces (12, 13). The first edge (15) comprises a longitudinal recess (21) facing the rear surface (13) and having a substantially semi-cylindrical inner wall, a convex profile (27) coaxial to the inner wall of the recess (21), at least a terminal lip (31, 32) and an inclined and rectilinear profile (33) joining the longitudinal recess (21) to the terminal lip (31, 32). The second edge (16) comprises a longitudinal cavity (40) with a substantially trapezoid transverse section.
