(54)	Assembly for rapid cutting of thin film into strips with undulated or smooth edges

(57) An assembly (1) for quick cutting of thin film that unwinds from a reel into strips with undulated or smooth edges, comprising a shaft (2) that is connected to rotary actuation elements on which a plurality spacer rings (5a, 5b) are rigidly coupled so that they are mutually packed, each ring having at least one side affected by a plurality of teeth arranged in a zigzag pattern and being suitable to cooperate with a plurality of complementary teeth of the side of an adjacent ring in order to clamp an annular blade (9) having a larger diameter than the rings and form a plurality of undulations of the crest while an annular blade clamped between respective smooth sides of contiguous rings keeps the crest of the blade on a plane, the film to be cut into strips with undulated and/or smooth edges being guided against said plurality of blades (9).
