(57) An element (10) with high sound-absorbing properties, comprising at least one layer (11) made up of thermosetting and/or thermoplastic and/or expanded polymers, which, by their intrinsic nature, do not have a substantial sound-absorbency coefficient in the spectrum of audible frequencies; the special constructive geometry of the element (10) allow high sound-absorbency values to be attained for all of the spectrum of frequencies with a low thickness.
