PURPOSE
[0001] The purpose to which the invention protected in this invention Patent refers is an
"Advertising card with magnifying lens".
HISTORY
[0002] The cards are small rectangular boards on which the identification and location data
of the person handing them over for this purpose are printed, either a natural person
(particular or professional) or artificial person.
[0003] If, in addition to the indicated purposes, it is intended that the card is for advertising,
it is understood that the professional person, business address or company distributing
it wants it to be kept by the person receiving it for as long as possible.
[0004] In effect, the cards are usually easily mislaid, due to their small size and, therefore,
not easily found when their use is required.
[0005] In view of the above, the efficiency of their function is proportional to the time
they are kept and to the easiness with which they are located, serving as a reminder
of the advertising message they contain.
[0006] To encourage the convenience of keeping them some advertising cards incorporate permanent
data of interest on their other side, such as calendars, emergency telephone numbers,
cooking recipes, etc.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0007] The aim of the invention constituting the purpose of the Invention Patent consists
in the inclusion of a singular element, such as a magnifying lens, in the conventional
advertising card made of cardboard or plastic material, thus transforming it into
an object of permanent use that, based on this same permanence, multiplies the efficiency
of the advertising message it contains and transmits.
[0008] The lens used is flat, with parallel faces, and is made up of a thin transparent
plastic sheet. One of its faces has a very fine facet printed in concentric circular
alignments with a large radius, constituting what is known in optics as a Fresnel
lens.
[0009] The card preferably has, in an oblong position and centrally arranged, a rectangular
window with sides parallel to those of the card, closed by the Fresnel type magnifying
lens included in the card making it an inseparable set.
[0010] Both the centered and oblong arrangement as well as the rectangular shape of the
window may be varied without this affecting the essentiality of the invention.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0011] To complement the description of the invention and facilitate the interpretation
of its formal and structural characteristics, attached is a drawing in which a preferred
performance of the "Advertising card with magnifying lens", constituting the purpose
of this Invention Patent, is schematically represented by a front elevation view.
DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED PERFORMANCE
[0012] In order to clearly show the nature and scope of the advantageous application of
the "Advertising card with magnifying lens" constituting the purposed of the claimed
invention, the following is a description of its structure, making reference to the
drawing that, on representing a preferred performance of said objective for information
purposes, must be considered in the widest and non-limiting sense of the application
and content of the claimed invention.
[0013] The card preferably has, in the oblong position and centrally arranged, a rectangular
window (1) with sides parallel to those of the card (2), closed by a thin flat plate
made of transparent plastic, one of the faces of which has a very fine printed facet
in concentric circular alignments with a large radius (Fresnel lens), although both
the preferential oblong and centered arrangement of the window as well as its rectangular
shape can be varied at one's discretion.
[0014] The magnifying lens is included in the card forming an inseparable set constituting
a permanent object of use and a reminder of the advertising message it contains and
transmits.
1. Advertising card with magnifying lens, characterized by the fact that in the oblong position and centrally arranged it preferably has a rectangular
window (1) with sides parallel to those of the card (2), closed by a thin flat plate
of transparent plastic, one of the faces of which has a very fine printed facet in
concentric circular alignments with a large radius (Fresnel lens), included in the
card forming an inseparable set constituting a permanent object of use and a reminder
of the advertising message it contains and transmits, although both the preferential
oblong and centered arrangement of the window as well as its rectangular shape can
be varied at one's discretion.
