(54) Apparatus for manufacturing and filling flexible packages having slide fasteners


(57) Horizontal form fill seal apparatus (300) for making flexible packages with slide fasteners (30) is provided. A fastener track (26, 28) is applied in-line with a plastic web (306) and is bonded thereto at the same time that a peel seal is formed. All package components are brought together for filling through the slide fasteners.
