[0001] The present invention is related to a spine device and more particularly, to a spine
device with a paper holder, a portfolio, a diary, a PP file or the like.
[0002] Typically, a paper holder includes a cover sheet, a first inner sheet, a bottom sheet,
and a second inner sheet. The first inner sheet with an area smaller than that of
the cover sheet is secured on the inner surface of the cover sheet along two edges
so as to provide a space between the cover sheet and the first inner sheet for holding
papers. The bottom sheet extends from the cover sheet and has the same area as that
of the cover sheet. And the second inner sheet has the same area as that of the first
inner sheet which is secured on the inner surface of the bottom sheet along two edges
so as to provide a space between the bottom sheet and the second inner sheet for holding
papers.
[0003] According to the prior art, when paper holders have the cover sheet and the bottom
sheet directed to face with each other and are put on a shelf, we can't distinguish
those paper holders according to spines of those paper holders. Hence some one provides
a paper holder with a whole face in spine. However, the whole face in spine can't
be fixed stably. When a lot of paper holders are put on a shelf, we can't distinguish
those paper holders according to the unstable whole face.
[0004] Therefore, it is tried to rectify this drawback by the present applicant.
[0005] It is therefore a first primary objective of the present invention to provide a spine
device including a first sheet, a second sheet extending from an edge of the first
sheet, and a spine section disposed on the edge, characterized in that when the first
sheet and the second sheet are directed to face with each other, the spine section
forms a specific area on the edge.
[0006] It is therefore second primary objective of the present invention to provide a spine
device including a first sheet, a second sheet extending from an edge of the first
sheet, and plural spine sections disposed on the edge, characterized in that when
the first sheet and the second sheet are directed to face with each other, each of
the spine sections forms a specific area on the edge.
[0007] It is therefore third primary objective of the present invention to provide a spine
device including a first sheet a second sheet extending from a first edge of the first
sheet, a first spine section disposed on the first edge, characterized in that when
the first sheet and the second sheet are directed to face with each other, the spine
section forms a first specific area on the first edge, a third sheet extending from
a second edge of the first sheet, and a second spine section disposed on the second
edge, characterized in that when the first sheet and the third sheet are directed
to face with each other, the second spine section forms a second specific area on
the second edge;
[0008] Certainly, the spine device is a paper holder.
[0009] Certainly, the spine device is a portfolio.
[0010] Certainly, the spine device can be a diary.
[0011] Certainly, the spine device can be a PP file.
[0012] Certainly, the first spine section and the second spine section are formed by means
of pressing.
[0013] Preferably, the first spine section and the second spine section have particular
shapes.
[0014] Preferably, the specific area is a vertical area.
[0015] Preferably, the first sheet, the second sheet, the third sheet, the first spine section
and the second spine section are of a unity.
[0016] The foregoing and other features and advantages of the present invention will be
more clearly understood through the following descriptions with reference to the drawings,
wherein:
[0017] Fig. 1 illustrates other preferred embodiments of the present invention of paper
holders; and
[0018] Fig. 2 illustrates other preferred embodiment of the present invention of a portfolio.
[0019] Fig. 3 illustrates other preferred embodiment of the present invention of a diary.
[0020] Please refer to Figs. 1(a) and 1(b). They illustrate a preferred embodiment of the
present invention of a paper holder. The paper holder 20 includes a first sheet 21,
a first inner sheet 23, a second sheet 25, a second inner sheet 27, and a spine section
3. The first inner sheet 23 with an area smaller than that of the cover sheet 21 which
is secured on the inner surface 22 of the first sheet 21 along two edges A and B so
as to provide a space between the first sheet 21 and the first inner sheet 23 for
holding papers. The second sheet 25 extends from an edge of the first sheet 21 and
has the same area as that of the cover sheet 21. The second inner sheet 27 has the
same area as that of the first inner sheet 23, which is secured on the inner surface
24 of the second sheet 25 along two edges C and D so as to provide a space between
the second sheet 25. And a spine section 3 is disposed on the edge. As shown in Fig.
1(b), when the first sheet 21 and the second sheet 25 are directed to face with each
other, the spine section 3 forms a vertical area.
[0021] Fig. 2 illustrates other preferred embodiments of the present invention of paper
holders. Each of paper holders includes a first sheet 31, a second sheet 35 and at
least a spine section 3 disposed on the edge, wherein when the first sheet 31 and
the second sheet 35 are directed to face with each other, the spine section 3 forms
a vertical area. According to Fig. 3, we can catch on to what benefits of the present
invention are. When paper holders have the first sheet 31 and the second sheet 35
directed to face with each other and are put on a shelf, we can distinguish those
paper holders according to spines of those paper holders easily. Furthermore, because
the paper holder has the spine section disposed on a vertical area and two sheets
to form a three-dimensional structure, that kind of the structure will prevent two
sheets from bending.
[0022] Fig. 3 illustrates other preferred embodiment of the present invention of a portfolio.
The portfolio includes a first sheet (not shown), a second sheet 45 extending from
a first edge of the first sheet, a first spine section 431 disposed on the first edge,
a third sheet 42 extending from a second edge of the first sheet, and a second spine
section 432 disposed on the second edge. The first spine section 431 and the second
spine section 432 are formed by means of pressing. However the first sheet and the
second sheet 45 are secured along two edges A and B, the spine section forms a first
vertical area 431 on the first edge. When the first sheet and the third sheet 42 are
directed to face with each other, the second spine section 432 forms a second vertical
area on the second edge. Similarly to the above embodiments, each of the spine sections
has a three-dimensional structure for strengthening the whole structure of the portfolio.
On the other hand, the first sheet, the second sheet 45, the third sheet 42, the first
spine section 431 and the second spine section 432 are of a unity and it is easy to
be manufactured by means of pressing. Fig. 4 illustrates other preferred embodiment
of the present invention of a diary. Such modifications and similar structures can
decrease the cost of manufacture and strengthen the strength of the whole structure.
