(54)	Device for a sliding switch

(57) This description relates to a switch for controlling electrical equipment in an automotive vehicle, comprising a pivoted key (4) which is connected to the lid (2) of the switch and a circuit board (7) which is contained in the base (3), said pivoted key (4) being suitable for moving a mobile contact (9) on the said circuit board (7) in order to close electrical contacts (13) contained therein. The mobile contact (9) is contained in a sliding element (10) which is connected to the pivoted key (4) by a mechanism for transforming the pivoted motion.
