(54) A switchable inflation device


(57) A fluid moving device is disclosed. The device comprises an intake port (10) that provides for fluid to be drawn into the fluid moving device (100), moving means (11) for moving fluid through the fluid moving device (100), and a fluid transfer orifice (18) through which fluid leaves the device. A power switch (5) is provided to for activate and deactivate the moving means (11) which includes a self-sealing structure that seals the intake port (10) when the power switch (5) is in a deactivated position, and unseals the intake port (10) when the power switch (5) is not in the deactivated position.
