Binder resin for toner and toner |
(57) A binder for a toner containing a polyester resin (A); and a block copolymer (B)
comprising a block comprising a sequence of ethylene hydrocarbon and/or a conjugated
diene hydrocarbon-derived constituent unit, and a block comprising a sequence of styrene-derived
constituent unit; and/or the hydrogenated product of the block copolymer, i.e., the
hydrogenated block copolymer. The binder can be used in a toner which can exhibit
superior fixing properties, offset resistance, development durability or the like.
Thus, it is possible to satisfy the needs of the markets that require a high-speed
printer, low-temperature fixing properties or the like.
Recycled PET products can also be used for raw materials, thus contributing to the
recycle society.
