(54) Sheet dispenser with optional support or attachment means


(57) A dispenser (20) for flexible sheets (11) from a stack (10) of adhesive coated sheets disposed one on top of another. The dispenser (20) comprises a first housing portion (35) including a bottom wall (23), end walls (26), side walls (33) and a first top wall portion (28); and a second housing portion (36) comprising a second top wall portion (29) mounted on the first housing portion (35) for movement between a normal position where the top wall portions (28 and 29) define an outlet opening for the sheets (11) between adjacent ends, and an open position with the second top wall portion (29) spaced from the first top wall portion (28) to afford inserting a stack (10) of sheets (11) into the cavity (22). The dispenser (20) includes attaching means adapted for releasably attaching the dispenser to several retaining means including a strap (54) by which the dispenser (20) can be secured on a user's hand or wrist; a support member (61) adapted to be held between user's fingers; a weighted base (78); or a base (80) adapted to be attached to a surface by various means such as adhesive, suction cups or magnetic material.
