(54) A mobile traffic barrier


(57) A mobile traffic barrier comprising a moving element (102), (201) swinging around a vertical axis and having at least one ground rest (104), (203), and a base element (101), (205) to which said moving element is connected through means (107), (209) comprising a hinge with horizontal axis, allowing said moving element to tilt on a vertical plane. A motorized version of the barrier is also disclosed, wherein the motor (204) is housed in the base element (205) and supported by a rotating frame (206); the moving element comprise a ground wheel (203) operatively connected to the motor (204) by means of a transmission shaft (208) comprising at least one universal joint.
