[0001] This invention is an enhancement of the patent No. 1003726 and is submitted as modified
proposal for Modification Patent.
[0002] The invention refers to the construction of a lamp holder (socket) -bayonet type-
for internal and external lighting.
[0003] In this advanced lamp holder (socket) -bayonet type- the bolts locking the cover
on the main body of the socket have been removed. Now new one-way bolts are used and
after their screwing they cannot be removed.
[0004] The internal body of the socket has been changed on the upper side and a new safer
one with quick installation has replaced the flange.
[0005] With the use of this flange the waterproof ring has been also removed.
[0006] An application follows the attached figures:
In Figure 1 a lamp holder (socket) installed in an electricity cable is presented.
In Figure 2 the frontage of the assembled lamp holder is stressed.
In Figure 3 the top view of the lamp holder is presented.
In Figure 4 the upper view of the internal part of the lamp is noted.
In Figure 5 the frontage and partial intersection of the waterproof flange is presented
In Figure 6 the top view of the lamp holder's main body is noted.
In Figure 7 we observe the top view of contact spike
In Figure 8 we see the upper view of the cover.
[0007] Regarding the designs the lamp holder (socket) -bayonet type- (1) is comprised of
the main body (1a), cover (4), spikes (5), waterproof flange (6), one-way bolts (7)
and drivers (9) of cover.
[0008] In the internal part there are bases (8) of the contact spikes and the new form of
the verge (10). The lamp holder (socket) is placed on the cable (2) and on it the
lamp is screwed.
[0009] The assembly way is the same as in the first submitting for Patent with the addition
that the above-mentioned enhancements made the assembly easier, more stable and waterproof.
[0010] The structure is a lamp holder for external and internal lighting (socket)-type Bayonet
B22 (according to International standards).
1. A lamp holder (socket) -bayonet type- (1) is used for internal or external lighting
as in Claim 1 in Patent No. 1003726. The modifications are the internal part of the
verge (10) of the main body (1a) and the used waterproof elastic flange (6) and the
one-way bolts (7), which cannot be removed.
2. A lamp holder (socket) - bayonet type- (1) is used for internal or external lighting
as in Claim 1 and is comprised by main body (1a), cover (4), spikes (5), waterproof
flange (6), one-way bolts (7) and drivers (9) of the cover.
The assembly is carried out as follows: The spikes -11-(brazen blades) pass from the
upper to the below part of the socket or vice versa on the main body -1a-. In the
same place the waterproof flange -12- is placed, which with a system and the waterproof
ring -13- integrates the socket after the locking of the ring in the lamp holder.
In the internal part of the body there are bases (8) of contact spikes and the new
form of the verge (10).
The lamp holder (socket) is placed on the cable (2) and on it the lamp is screwed.
The structure is a lamp holder (socket) -type Bayonet-B22 (according to the International
Standards).
