(54) Staircase renovation kit


(57) Staircase renovation kit comprising a board element (5) intended to be placed on top of an existing step (3) and a step nose (1), in which a levelling surface (2) is arranged for alignment of an existing step (3), wherein the step nose and the board element are arranged to be connected to each other such that an essentially even surface is obtained in the joint between the step nose (1) and the board element. A layer of glue (6) is arranged between the board element (5) and the existing step (3), wherein the glue acts as a filling element between the existing step (3) and the staircase renovation kit, such that the glue together with the board element and the existing step contributes to dampen sounds from steps.
