(57) An apparatus (10) for use with a sweeper comprising a body (12) for housing a container (22) to receive rubbish, characterized by means for moving (70) said container (22) from a first position in which rubbish can be received in the container (22) to a second position elevated relative to said body (12) in which the container (22) may be emptied substantially without the need for a human operator to lift said rubbish out of said container.
