Antiperspirant or deodorant composition |
(57) Hair removal, especially from armpits damages skin, for example by irritating it,
and this can be exacerbated by the application of antiperspirants to control body
odour generation. In the present invention, the deleterious effects of hair removal,
eg shaving, and antiperspirancy can be ameliorated by employing antiperspirant compositions
containing a natural oil and glycerol to a combined concentration of from 1.5 to 15%
by weight and in a weight ratio of from 4:1 to 1:4.
