(54) Stereo-image display device for naked-eye vision


(57) A monitor (M) is driven by video signals to display a composite image comprising alternate vertical sections respectively belonging to the right-hand and left-hand image of a stereoscopic pair (S1, D2, S3, D4, ...). A shutter screen (H) is placed before the monitor, comprising adjacent vertical sections, which are darkened synchronously with the video signal, whereby each eye of a spectator placed before the monitor is alternately allowed to view only the right-hand and left-hand image.
