(54) FLUORINATED POLYETHER MONOMER, POLYMER FORMED THEREFROM, AND SURFACE-TREATING AGENT


(57) A fluorine-containing polymer which is an active component of a surface treatment agent having excellent water- and oil-repellency is constituted by a fluorine-containing polyether monomer of the formula: wherein Rf is a perfluoroalkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms,
R is hydrogen or a methyl group,
A1 is a divalent linear or branched aliphatic group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms,
A2 is a direct bond, or a divalent linear or branched aliphatic group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms which may have an ether linkage,
X is a trivalent linear or branched aliphatic group having 2 to 5 carbon atoms, and
n is from 1 to 100.
